Ok, I witnessed something i thought was hilarious the other day and I feel my fellow crapers should hear about this. According to pot heads on the bus I was riding the scientists were WRONG! Apparently marijuana does not effect the brain and cause you to become stupid. I think they spoke to soon!

I was riding the bus home from the city and I picked the perfect seat for entertainment. Now let me start out by saying that I don’t care what you do on your free time it’s your business. Let me repeat that. It’s YOUR business. With that said let me continue. As I rode my pimped ride home I noticed there was a man sitting near me with a hat on. On that hat was a huge pot leaf. We’ll call him “PotHatMan” to make this easier. Broadcasting to the world that he was obviously a “pot head.” Now maybe its just me, but how smart would that be since pot is illegal. Why this person felt it was necessary to wear this hat is beyond me. He didn’t need a hat, you could tell he was high from a mile away. Although the hat in itself just proves my point even more.

So now by luck of the draw, he was sitting next to another pot head. This guys was white as a ghost and was wearing an inside out do-rag. We’ll call him “DoucheBag.” I know he is one and so did the rest of the bus from the conversation they were having. It went like this:

DoucheBag says: “Hey I bet you smoke pot! Huh huh huh.”

PotHatMan says: “How did you know did the hat give it away?”

Right then I knew I was in for a treat. So I looked at my girl friend and gave her the “this is going to be retarded look.”

PotHatMan says: “I honestly don’t think pot makes you stupid.”

DoucheBag says: “Ya, I think they are wrong about that because I am a very intelligent guy.”

PotHatMan says: “If pot makes you dumb then I must have been fucking Einstein before I started smoking!”

DoucheBag says: “I mean you can tell the people who were stupid before they smoked pot because they are completely burnt out after. And I know some of those people, huh huh.”

PotHatMan says: “Oh yeah, I know plenty of those people, ha!”

Now did any of you catch that? They started saying “pot doesn’t make you stupid” then they say “I know stupid people it made burnt out (dumb).” This was already entertainment enough for me, but I’m glad I got to witness what happened next. So PotHeadMan reaches up and pulls the wire to signal he wants to get off the bus. The bus comes to a stop and he gets off the bus. Soon as he gets off the bus he darts down the side walk. Oblivious to reality, he goes to cross the road the bus is turning onto. The bus comes centimeters away from hitting him! It was so close that it might have hit him but I couldn’t see because his face was to close to the bus. He jumped back with an “OH SHIT! I almost got nailed by the bus.” look on his face then started to laugh as we passed him.

I had so many smart comments rolling through my mind at this point I was going to explode. I just wanted to lean over to Douchebag and say “Einstein forgot to look both ways.” or “You’re right, smoking pot doesn’t make you stupider… it just makes you forget not to walk into on coming traffic.” I couldn’t do it though. I was too afraid that I would have to spark up a conversation with the douche bag.
