There is a common perception that each new generation is to some degree worse off than the previous. There is even a proverb to this effect that goes something like: “The world is going to hell in a hand basket.” Know why this is true? We are fighting Darwin.
The most basic law of nature is that the “fittest” survive and pass their “beneficial” genes on to the next generation while the “unfit” perish and do not pass on their “defective” genes. That is, of course, unless you’re a human. In which case, we will do whatever we can to protect these “defective” folks.
I would bet this proverb came into being right around the time the first laws were enacted to protect the stupid. Unfit people, who in the natural world would have perished long ago, are coddled and protected in modern society. There are many, many laws, rules and regulations that are designed to keep some idiot from doing something that no “fit” person would do in the first place.
Who hasn’t seen (and perhaps ignored) the warning labels on products that state “Do not use other than directed”? Really? We need to tell people that? I say, let nature take its course. If they want to pour bleach in their eyes… buy it for them. If they want to microwave hair spray… hand them the can. If they want to drink gas… stick the nozzle in their mouth. If they don’t want to wear a seat belt or helmet (for motorcyclists) then so be it. It won’t be me flying through the windshield or smashing my head on some roadside obstacle.
Basically, if they want to do something that will prevent them from passing their “defective” genes on to the next generation, this is nature at work. Don’t fight it. Respect it. Allow it to work out the way it should, for this is what has ensured our survival throughout the millennia.

Some may find this “inhumane”. Really? Inhumane? To me, it would seem that, protecting the “unfit” and allowing their “defective” genes to propagate, is far more detrimental to humanity than allowing nature to “weed out” a few morons who offer nothing but “bad” traits. I ask: “What’s more “humane” than taking care of humanity as a whole?“
Still don’t agree? Still putting the rights of the “unfit” above the state of humanity?
Then don’t complain about increasing crime, increasing violence, increasing poverty, increasing hunger, decreasing morality, decreasing productivity (i.e. lazy people riding the welfare, unemployment and disability systems rather than working), etc. Oh yeah, and don’t complain about the increased costs that result from these either. This includes increased insurance premiums and higher taxes.
Basically, if we, as humans, are going to ensure idiots live long enough to reproduce, then we should not complain about the ill effects of this course of action. After all, it makes sense that the more idiots that we have running around, the worse off things will be for the rest of us.
Unless, of course, you’re one of those idiots.

Let some dumb bastard pour bleach in their eyes or shove some bottle rockets up their rectum. It’s natural selection. A way of “weeding” out the idiots. Unfortunately it seems “stupid people” don’t have any sort of thought process. In fact it seems that they can’t do much of anything… other than breed.

Breeding should be a lot harder than putting the round peg in the round hole. Any two idiots can do that.
We need legislation that requires a certain IQ level pror to reproducing. Should you not meet the required minimum, we lop of your peg or sow shut the hole. End of story.
I’m off to Congress to lobby. Ratification of my just completed ‘Peg-Hole Bill’should be a no-brainer. (pun intended)
